USTA Mixed Doubles Sectionals . . .
Three Amarillo Mixed Doubles teams played in Corpus Christi this past week at the USTA Mixed Doubles Sectionals with the 6.0Team, captained by Sean Kelley, winning and therefore will be heading to USTA Mixed Doubles Nationals, November 20–22 in Tucson, Arizona.
The 8.0 Team, captained by Kristi Casler, lost in the semi-finals to the team that won the tournament at that level.
They started the season with only six players and those six had a great run.
Carlos Aragon’s 7.0 Team did not win any of their matches, but saw lots of good tennis and want another shot at the Sectional title.
Thanks to all of you who represented Amarillo in Corpus and to all the teams that played locally.
